Special Rate Variation

Hunter’s Hill Council has recently made an application to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) seeking a variation to general income. IPART will review and assess this application and notify Council in June of its decision.

Council has requested an increase to its general income to extend expiring levies, which will provide much needed funds for improving infrastructure, continuing our existing environmental programs, and funding initiatives as identified by the community as a priority in developing the Hunters Hill Community Strategic Plan.

The complete version of Council’s application to IPART is available below. PART A details the financial scenarios, and PART B details the rationale behind the application.
