The future of The Henley Club and Gladesville Reserve

TUESDAY - 8th March 2011
7.30pm - Town Hall
22 Alexandra Street, Hunters Hill

On 14 January 2011, the Land and Property Management Authority (LPMA) changed the Trustee status of the Henley Club and part of Gladesville Reserve for the purpose of locating Marine Rescue NSW at the facility. Council is concerned to ensure that:

  1. Appropriate community consultation takes place between users of the facility and the broader community in respect of the future use of Gladesville Reserve and the Henley Club
  2. Any lease agreement between LPMA and Marine Rescue NSW contains adequate clauses governing continuing community use of the Henley Club
  3. Land not required by Marine Rescue NSW is returned to Council control
  4. The Henley Club is returned to the community if Marine Rescue NSW relocates in the future.

Representatives of LPMA and Marine Rescue NSW will be attending the meeting. Residents interested in the future use of this land and the preservation of community land are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting.
