The Hunters Hill Quilt Group

The Hunters Hill Quilt Group meets every Thursday at Fairland Hall, Church Street, Hunters Hill: 10:30am - 2:30pm.

The group has a membership of almost 70 members, with approximately 40 members meeting each week. New members and visitors are always welcome.

The Hunters Hill Quilters aim to enhance and further develop the craft of patchwork and quilting by the sharing of ideas and techniques while using their skills to contribute to the community.

Formed in 1982, the group has donated over 1000 quilts and in excess of $150,000 to various local charities. One of the major contributions was the Bicentennial Quilt which was presented to the Mayor of Hunters Hill in 1988 as a gift to the community. It now hangs in the Hunters Hill Town Hall. Measuring 6 metres by 2.5 metres, it took 50 ladies two years to make.
