Intent to Enter a Lease Agreement for The Priory submission date extended to 22 May 2015

At Council Meeting No. 4376 Council resolved to advertise its intention to enter into a lease agreement with Tranter Vass Pty Ltd for the adaptive reuse of The Priory, 10 Salter Street, Gladesville as a wedding venue and corporate function centre.

To provide certainty for all parties including the community before significant monies are expended by Council at the Development Application stage Council seeks responses to the terms and conditions of the lease, which include (but not limited to):

• Operating hours: Sunday – Thursday until 10.00 pm – staff vacated by 11.00 pm.
• Operating hours: Friday – Saturday until 11.00 pm – staff vacated by 12.00 pm midnight.
• Length of lease: 21 years.
• Feasibility studies: Parking, traffic and noise (which are subject to Development Application Conditions of Consent).
• Rental calculation: Based on 5 yearly market reviews.
