Gladesville Sale of Land

Council has entered contracts for the sale of three parcels of land at the following locations:

1. 4-6 Cowell Street
2. 10 Cowell Street
3. 1c Massey Street

The sales are subject to Put and Call Option Deeds.

To ensure that Council keeps its role as a vendor separate from its statutory role regarding future development applications on these sites the sales are not subject to approval of a development application.

With the agreement of the purchaser these ’Commercial-in-Confidence’ documents have been made available for perusal only and should not be copied.

Any information relating to financial considerations has been redacted from the documents.

A copy of the property valuations prepared for Council by Colliers International for these properties are also available for perusal only and should not be copied.

Section 22 (1)(d) of the Local Government Act (1993) provides that Council may, for the purpose of enabling it to exercise its functions, purchase, exchange, take on lease, hold, dispose of and otherwise deal with property.
