Notice of re-development, Gladesville Shopping Village DA2013-1036

Council has received a development application for re-development of the Gladesville Shopping Village - Flagstaff, Cowell & Massey Streets, Gladesville.

Please note that Council has now extended the period in which it will take submissions from the public about the proposed development to Friday 15 November 2013.

The application plans and any supporting documentation may be inspected at Council Office between 8:30am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday (Public Holidays excepted) or by appointment with the relevant Council Officer, between 4 September 2013 and 15 November 2013.

Therefore any written comments for submission to Council should be submitted no later than close of business on Friday 15 November 2013.

Any person, during the period specified above, may make a written submission in relation to the development application to Council.

Any submission made on this proposal should be addressed to the General Manager, and must be typed or clearly and legibly handwritten in ink, quoting the Development Application number (2013-1036) and including a daytime contact telephone number and where possible, an email contact address. All submission(s) become public documents and may be viewed or copied upon request by any person.

Submissions received will be acknowledged prior to the matter being determined. Applications are to be considered under ‘Matters for Consideration’ section 79C of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and Council’s Local Environmental Plan and Development Control Plan, which include the impact on the amenity of adjoining or neighbouring properties.

Subsequent amendments to this application if submitted will be re-notified only if they are considered by Council Officers to result in undue impacts on the amenity of adjoining properties or the environment when compared to the original plans.
