Reporting Schedule - Gladesville Planning Proposal

The Gladesville ‘Key Site’ Planning Proposal was exhibited from 21 February to 20 March 2018. To date 130 submissions and two emails regarding technical advice have been received from the general public and government agencies.

These submissions have been reviewed by Council staff and contact made with government agencies where further clarification of issues was required.

Council staff also reviewed the following State Government documents which were released on the 18 March 2018 and are relevant to the assessment:

• A Metropolis of Three Cities - Greater Sydney Region Plan
• North District Plan
• Future Transport 2056

A report is now being prepared on the Planning Proposal and it will be considered at the Council meeting of 10 September 2018.

The report to be considered at the meeting will be published on Council’s website from 24 August 2018, two weeks prior to the council meeting date. Two weeks is being provided to allow all parties adequate time to read the report and prepare for
the meeting.

Please note that if you wish to speak at the Council meeting a “Request to Address Meeting” form needs to be completed and lodged with Council by 12 noon on 10 September 2018. This form may be downloaded from Council’s webpage at the following link.

At the meeting Council will make a recommendation on the Planning Proposal which will be forwarded to the Department of Planning and Environment. The Department of Planning and Environment is the determining authority for the planning proposal.
