Concept Plan Inclusive Playground Boronia Park North

Touched by Olivia and Hunter’s Hill Council have partnered to deliver the first inclusive playspace in the Hunters Hill LGA. It will be an exciting new playground with a variety of equipment designed to be accessible for all children, including children with a disability.

We have chosen to upgrade Boronia Park North, and plan to create a place designed for people of all ages and abilities, in line with Hunter’s Hill Council’s recently adopted Disability Access Inclusion Plan.

The playspace will be known as Livvi’s Place, and the concept design has been informed by the needs of local children and people with disabilities. A local panel of residents passionate about inclusion and play has been formed with Council staff, Clr Krassoi, Clr Collins and Clr Sanderson representing Council.

A draft Concept Plan has been completed and can be downloaded below.

You are invited to comment on the Concept Plan. Please forward your comments to Council’s General Manager, PO Box 22 Hunters Hill 2110 or email council@huntershill.nsw.gov.au

Comments must be received by 4pm Wednesday 22 August 2018.

If you would like further information please contact Margaret Kelly, Manager Community Services, Hunter’s Hill Council on commserv@huntershill.nsw.gov.au or telephone 98799419 or visit Touched by Olivia’s website www.touchedbyolivia.com.au.
