| Email attachments | | Sometimes a simple text email just isn't enough. You may need to send additional documents or graphics to Council in electronic format.
As a guide, the total size of your email should be 5Mb or smaller. For attachments containing graphics, the images should be 1Mb or smaller per image. Council accepts and encourages you to compress your attachments using the popular ZIP format.
For word processing and desktop publishing documents, your page size should be A4 and not Letter size.

| Other file formats not listed here are generally not supported. If your file is in a format not accepted by Council, you will need to convert or export your file into one of the supported formats. Failing to convert your file may result in Council being unable to action your email in a timely manner.
You may be able to install software that 'prints' your document to a file. Such software may take the print information and instead of sending it to a printer, it will typically export that information to an Acrobat PDF file. Examples of such software include the full version of Adobe Acrobat, PDFCreator, doPDF and PDF995. This method is recommended for CAD or desktop publishing type files.
